Elkton is a small city located in Douglas County, Oregon, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city had a total population of around 195. It's situated at the confluence of the Umpqua River and Elk Creek.
The city is named after a large herd of elk that were found in the area when the original settlers arrived. It was Incorporated on April 17, 1946.
