New York's Finger Lakes region is known for its Riesling and Gewürztraminer, thriving in the cool climate. The Texas Hill Country is gaining recognition for its Tempranillo and Viognier. Virginia, with its Monticello AVA, offers a variety of wines, including Viognier and Cabernet Franc.
